the virtual home of the Swiss branch of the family
Due to the international distribution of our Estapé-Waller-Eisenring-Delfino-Klauser-Marin-Bollemeijer clan we have decided to publish our website in English, so that most at least understand a little.
By the way, „Estapé“ is a Catalan name – although we are (probably and so far) the only family in Switzerland by that name, there are about 480 people of this name in Spain (the 3328th most popular name in Spain in 2014).
Our ancestor, Isidro Estape y Duran, had decided to move from Catalonia at the age of 12, in 1912, alone. He managed to settle successfully in Switzerland, first around Zurich and then in Biel/Bienne. He was married to Berthe Wolf and had twins with her, Dolly and Ramon.
